The Missouri House of Representatives Goes After YOUR Vote and Benefits
The Missouri House of Representatives has passed a bill that would alter Proposition A, the minimum wage and paid leave law passed by voters last November. Proposition A passed with 57% of the vote. HB 567 would remove paid sick leave requirements for businesses. It would maintain the $15 minimum wage but would keep it constant rather than adjust annually in relation to the CPI, according to the Missouri Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
