UAW Local 2250 Stands With Others For Democracy!
The previous post on this website features a CAP (Community Action Program) fundraiser, ironically for headwear. What does your CAP Committee do?
Today, at the Missouri State Capitol in Jefferson City we stood up for the voters of Missouri. The 57% of voters that supported paid leave. The voters that supported an increase in the minimum wage. The citizens and voters of Missouri that would like to put a referendum on the ballot instead of relying on lobbied legislators to be their sole representation. The chants from this energized group of democracy defenders could be heard and felt throughout the Capitol. Thanks to Jobs with Justice, social activists, and the labor community for showing up!
