Yeah, The UAW Local 2250 Women Were There!
The St. Louis Labor Tribune brings us 120 Union Sisters Attend Missouri AFL-CIO’s Working Women’s Lobby Day….
A group of 120 union sisters traveled to the Missouri Capitol March 11 for the 10th Annual Missouri Working Women’s Lobby Day in honor of International Women’s Day March 8. The event, hosted by the Missouri AFL-CIO, began at Bone’s Banquet Center in Jefferson City where legislators discussed the issues facing Missouri’s working women. Afterward, union members walked the halls of the State Capitol and talked with state senators and representatives about what matters to Missouri’s working women.
The UAW Local 2250 Women’s Committee participated in this event and visited several legislators to share their views on issues that affect women and all workers!
