{"id":9789,"date":"2025-10-08T07:29:50","date_gmt":"2025-10-08T13:29:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/uawlocal2250.net\/live\/?p=9789"},"modified":"2025-10-08T07:29:52","modified_gmt":"2025-10-08T13:29:52","slug":"mo-unemployment-and-sub-update","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/uawlocal2250.net\/live\/index.php\/2025\/10\/08\/mo-unemployment-and-sub-update\/","title":{"rendered":"Mo Unemployment and SUB Update"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><mark style=\"color:#e8b11a\" class=\"has-inline-color\">FROM OUR UAW LOCAL 2250 BENEFITS REPS<\/mark><\/strong>\u2026<br>We, along with our Chairman, have been working with the Plant Labor Dept. to address our laid off Members being put on a 10-day protest period from Missouri Unemployment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>The following is the response the Plant Labor Dept. received from Missouri Unemployment:\u00a0 \u201cThe 10-day protest period is the time frame we observe for non-mass claim filings to give the employer an opportunity to file a protest. Payments are not released during this time. Mass Claims are not supposed to have a 10-day protest period. This is an issue with our system that we were made aware of earlier this morning. I have made an IT request to have the protest period removed. I do not have a time estimate on how long it will take to remove it. I\u2019m hopeful that it will be less than a day.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><br><strong>Please stay patient while Missouri Unemployment works to have the protest period removed.<br>Reminder, Missouri is an Auto-SubPay state. There is NO need to fill out a paper application for SubPay.
