Attention UAW Local 2250 Alliance Credit Union Members
The annual Dennis J. Sommer Scholarship for Excellence in
Education is awarding three $5,000.00 scholarships for 2025.
Eligibility
Alliance Credit Union Members, their children and
grandchildren are eligible. Each applicant must be a high
school senior planning to be a full-time college student, or a
full-time college student during the 2025/2026 school year.
How to apply
Complete the application and then choose to do either a
written essay or video essay on the following topic: If you
had the authority to change your community in a positive
way, what specific changes would you make and what steps
would you take to make them? Also, you will write why you
need the scholarship. Application must be received by
Friday, February 28, 2025 and late applications will not be
accepted.
