Don’t Let Employees Slip Away During Great Resignation

It has finally happened. The last 40 years have seen the labor market favor the employers and have they taken full advantage.  Stagnant wages, crazy scheduling, turning full-time jobs into temporary or “gig” jobs, transferring benefit costs to workers, and more.

As we approach 2022, leaders and managers need to realize times have changed. Employees are tired of being disrespected and devalued. They don’t want to work with that vile and toxic coworker. And they are drained from being overworked and under paid.

Employees want — and deserve — a positive, respectful and inclusive work environment where they are compensated and treated fairly. They are exhausted and they want to be heard.

Sounds like common sense.  Do you think your employer should be doing all they can to provide a respectful and inclusive work environment?
